Hi all,

Got a MBP 13 recently, the most basic one with C2D and M320 chip.
I plan to install windows xp on it, using bootcamp, as I need it for some pro apps.
I was wondering which games could run on such a machine: Modern warefare 2, GTA IV? Or am I dreaming?

And on OSX?

Cheers

GTA IV lags a bit but playable. Not great. But I did it. Wouldn't do it again, it's frustrating at times. MW2 is fine. I've tested a few games.. feel free to check out my youtube channel. Haven't updated it with much games lately but gives you an idea.

I prefer bootcamp for my gaming except for WoW which runs fine on OSX since I cap it at 25fps anyway. SC2 is way better in bootcamp, not just for graphics quality but overall smoothness and feel.. it's just kinda wonky on OSX... though I only tested it during launch week on osx before putting it on bootcamp. Could have improved since.

i'm getting ready to retire my 8 month old 13" MBP from gaming. As soon as I can find some decent revenue stream, I'm ponying up for a 17" MBP, 13" MBA, as well as a 27" ACD. I guess my 13" MBP will be donated to my mother.

Thanks for your answer. I will start with modern warfare2. I might try gtaIV, as it was running (very slowly, but running) on my old laptop (C2C 2.4ghz with 2gb ram and Nvidia 8600gt). The frequency of the ram was much lower and the 8600gt is much less powerfull than the N320. Well, I hope it is :)

Maybe slightly detracting but a question that could benefit OP...is Modern Warfare 2 on Mac OS X? If so where can I get a download legal or not? Or maybe just a demo....I just want to have a little COD on here :D
