My macbook pro is making a weird sound i think its the fan, it happened a while back but went away, now the sound is permanent i tried cleaning the fan resetting smc still nothing worked, i have a youtube video of what it sounds like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBZ1nhDu8vY
Has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it? I just ordered a new fan from ifixit.com i hope changing the fan will fix the problem.
BTW it does this sound even on low CPU usage, and when it makes the sound the fan RPM Spikes up and down from 500ish-2500ish if i try to use iStat to adjust it, nothing changes fan rpm and sound stays the same spiking up and down
