Why is it that the higher end Macbook Pro 13 inch has the most GHz by with 2.8. I'm considering getting the lower end 15 inch or the higher end 13 inch. I don't do that much editing with photos / movies and all that jazz, but I want a very fast, strong computer. Can someone help me make my decision?

you're just looking at the number and basing assumption off of that..you need to realize the 13's are only dual-core whereas the 15's are quad-core

You need to consider the number of cores, the architecture, and the cache in each processor as well. It's not all about GHz these days; it hasn't been that way for many years now.
