I have the June 2012 macbook pro 13 inch, and my battery capacity has become 97% is this normal? And is there any way to make the capacity go back to 100%? I have had this macbook for 10 months
It is perfectly normal if your battery health (maximum capacity) is more or less than 100%, even when brand new, or if it fluctuates up or down over time. The gradual decline is not in a straight line downward, and it may decline more rapidly at some times and slower at others. I have found that the reported max capacity can change by a few percent when I simply remove the charger cable and plug it right back in.
My June 2012 15" rMBP with 33 cycles varies between 97 and 99 percent of original capacity.
