MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020) BAND across screen

Only one year old and now my M1 screen has this ugly band across it that appeared out of nowhere. Computer still works aside from the defective screen. Is there a fix?

I don’t know in which country you are, but anywhere in the EU and GB you get at least two years warranty cover.
But even if you live somewhere else, if the mac is 1 year old and you have not caused this by misuse, just take it to Apple and they should fix it under warranty.
