My macbook lags when playing online flash games like dolphin olympics 2, and heli attack 3 as examples... Is there a reason why? Playing WoW with graphics at decent didn't even cause lag but a simple flash game slows it down? No processes running but Safari.

OSX is not all it's cracked up to be, in particular on the 13 inchers.

For some reason I feel like it should be able to handle simple flash games like dolphin olympics? Seeing as it ran WoW flawlessly :(

i just got my 13" 2.26 mbp a few weeks ago, i have to say when i read this i was gonna bug out and return it, considering i havent tried any flash games yet.

just tried Dolphin olympics 2 and it runs flawlessly

mabye reinstall flash?
im running safari with only 2g ram. so i doubt its a memory issue especially considering you run wow, and browser idk about that either. Just make sure everything is up to date.

I did notice on miniclips with a fresh install of Shockwave some s.w games seem to be an issue.

Weird, games on addictinggames seem to be working fine it's just those few that I mentioned seem to lag.

So has no one come up with a good solution. I have played tons of games on Addicting games and just recently have been having problems. I can no longer play any games for more than 5 minutes without having it lag horribly. I have tried updating to snow lepard, running onyx, and emptying the cache several times. Please help!

You think you've got a lag in Flash games ... you should see some of the older version Flash games running on my 266MHz beige G3 PowerMac! Playing a pinball game can be glacial taking minutes for the ball to get anywhere near the flippers. Mind you, the lag has sometimes helped me get massive scores too that nobody with a faster computer can beat, even if it did takes ages to get there. :)

This is a commonly discussed topic. Basically flash for MAC is not properly optimized as it is for Windows.
