hello

I have buy macbook pro in hope that I will play on my philips 4k, but when I use HDMI I can its only 30hz power to screen.
So I buy displayport in app store. But when I try its NO VIDEO INPUT.
I have try everthing. Drivers,... but still not working...
Does anyone have something on this?

The HDMI only doing 30Hz is a limitation of the 1.4 port that both the monitor and the rMBP use.

Which cable have you purchased exactly that things aren't working with?

Thunderbolt cabel, original from istore.

- I'm not sure Thunderbolt cables work with such high resolutions, or that the Philips monitor will support them properly.

Go get a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort 1.2 cable.

This cabel works fine and at 60hz.
