After updating my year old M1 MacBook Pro i suddenly face these really weird cursor glitches. The cursor jitters and sometimes it feels like working on a 15Hz screen. See the attached video, it is only visible when capturing the screen with my iPhone, macOS screen captures look normal. It goes away after ~3 minutes and comes back randomly, but almost always after logging in/opening the MacBook. I double checked the mouse cursor stuff under the accessibility and even reset them. I'm on the latest OS, no beta or anything. Anyone has seen something similiar?

Don't see any jittering (which can also happen) in the video, only what looks like a slow refresh rate, so maybe that's what it is. Hard to tell if it's abnormally slow from the video, though. You can try this check below.

Turn off ProMotion and run the screen at a fixed 60Hz if it annoys you. It's just the refresh rate being reduced if nothing moves on the screen. It might not always kick up in time when you start moving your pointer.
