X x3n0n1c macrumors regular Jul 9, 2014 185 28 Oct 22, 2021 #2 It always will, you're running at a higher internal resolution. If you're running into UI animations that dont lock to 60, then increasing the scaling will make it worse. That said, my M1 13" Pro runs generally pretty smooth.
