Hello everybody.

Out of curiosity I ran
ioreg -w 0 -f -r -c AppleSmartBattery
on my mid-2020 MBP 13". For "Design Capacity" it gives me a value of 5103.
"Max Capacity" is at 4621 after just about a year and 34 cycles (it's plugged in most of the time and charging is capped at 70%).

That means I'm down to roughly 90% of the design capacity after a year.
Does that sound normal? I don't have all that much experience with batteries in MacBooks, I'm afraid...

I have 229 cycles on my mid-2020 MBP 13" and it's at 4670 on current capacity. It's nothing to worry about just keep using it as normal and everything will be fine.

Thanks for the reply.
I've also now noticed that "Max Capacity" seems to vary quite a bit. I guess I'll really just keep using it as normal - if something's actually borked I'll probably notice, anyway 😅

I am at "MaxCapacity" = 4864 on a 81 cycles :) it does seem to fluctuate up and down sometimes though. Mid 2020 MBP.
