I don't know which one I should get. If I get the 13 inch i7 I can get a 128GB SSD with it. The quad core and better graphics would be nice but I wouldn't be able to have an SSD. I want so I can edit youtube videos and for school but other than that I'll just be using it as a general use computer. Help?

That seems like a personal decision. Either will work fine for your purposes.

Do you want the extra screen real estate and quad CPU at the expense of the SSD and portability?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8F190 Safari/6533.18.5)

If you don't do any heavy gaming then the 13 is ideal. It's a great balance of power, portability, and battery life.

I traded my 15" 2.2 in for the 13" i7. The 15 was too buggy, and the 13 is absolutely trouble-free. I don't play games so who cares about the graphics. The CPU on Logic Pro is running about 5-7% which is not even breaking a sweat.

The 15 was doing crazy things like 69c temps at idle with external monitor.

The 13 runs verry cool. My hottest temps under load with Logic and 27" cinema are 60c.

General usage?

go for 13" 2010

13" 2010 Refurb
Better graphics than the 2011 but an out date C2D(which i see would suit your needs) 1066Mhz DDR3 Ram

13" 2011
A 2nd gen core from Intel but Intel HD3000 graphics which half the time, the 320M would beat it but more power sufficient 1333Mhz DDR3 Ram

15" 2010 i5 2.4 Refurb
it would suit you if you want a 15"

15" 2011 i7 2.0
its an 2nd gen i7 what do u think? with Radeon graphics...

pros and cons, u decide
