I just upgraded my ram in my macbook pro 13" . When I installed it yesterday I got the 3 beeps / no boot indicating a ram problem. I tried a second time figuring maybe the ram wasn't seated right, and got the same 3 beeps. I put my old memory back in to make sure it would boot up, and it did. I then put only one the new ram chips in and 3 beeps, tried the other ram chip and it booted. Finally, just to confirm the one chip was indeed bad I re-seated it and to my surprise it booted up? System profiler shows both chips. I've rebooted it a couple times now, and have been running it for a day now without issue. Is this safe? Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Thanks,
- Oscar
