Is the Resolution of the MBP (2011) Good Enough for HD videos and such,

I mean is it A Good Display? Whats your Opinion?

It's gorgeous (in my opinion) or it's not ( in the opinion of others), but in the end you are buying it, so go take a look at one next to ore mbp and MBA models.

Yes the 13" will look good with HD video. The 15" or the 17" should look better though.

This from Apple.com:

When you need more performance for things like playing 3D games, editing HD video, or even running CAD software, the 15- and 17-inch MacBook Pro models automatically switch to discrete AMD Radeon graphics that let you see more frames per second and experience better responsiveness. With up to 1GB of dedicated GDDR5 video memory, these processors provide up to 3x faster performance than the previous generation.2

For HD videos:

- 720p (5+ mbps): the screen resolution of 13" MBPs (1280x800) is fine to me, but the 13" MBA definitely looks better. I had both side by side just yesterday evening, image was crisper on the MBA's (1440x900), way more eye-pleasing.

- 1080p (8+ mbps): the resolution becomes a bottleneck. I can't see more details than on 720p videos. I have yet to try on the MBA for comparison purposes.
