I remember when the 13" MBP first came out, there were a lot of gripes over the screens. I'm wondering, how are the screens on the latest MBP's? Have all the issues been resolved? I don't want to go into the screen lottery hoping I get a good screen.

Wasn't aware there were major issues with the 13" displays. I do recall that when the Alu Macbooks came out, a lot of people noticed that the quality and viewing angle weren't as good as the larger Pro models, but my understanding is that the new 13" Pros have similar quality screens as their bigger siblings now.

FWIW, my 13" display is without issues.

My favorite is still the AUO B133EW04, which has dropped to $135/pc. At that price I was seriously considering offering a direct swapout for people with the original model for a steep discount in exchange for keeping the old screen. Something like $50 total.

The AUO schools the rest.

The 13" MBP screens look great. The 13" Macbook unibody screens that came before it do not.

If you were in CA I'd be all over that in a heartbeat!
