MacBook Pro 13" Shuts down when not used

My macbook pro shuts down when I get up to do something. I leave it unattended for less than a minute and it just shuts down. But when Im using it it doesnt shut down!

I have this laptop for about 4 years already, and recently the battery inflated and i took it to the store and they told me that I need a new one and they took it out. Im just using the Magsafe to get power.

Why do you think it shuts down when im not present??
Might it be that the battery ruined the heat sensors in the trackpad or something like that??
but why would it shut down?

You may want to go to Systems Preferences (the app with the gear wheel) and then open "Energy Saver." It is the third icon from the left in the second row, and looks like a light bulb.

When it opens you will be able to see if somehow the sliders for timing out the MacBook when not in use have gotten moved to the extreme left. This will make the unit shut down in less than a minute.
