After reformatting my macbook, it seems to be running considerably slower than the "out of box" condition. For example, before reformatting restarting the system was quick. Now, when i want to restart, i have to wait 30 seconds before it restarts.

What should i do?

For one thing, Spotlight has to reindex the drive after a fresh install. That may slow it down considerably for a short period. Have you installed all of the OS X updates and anything else that appears in "Software Update?"

Yes I have installed the updates. Im not sure if this is true, but I find that sometimes a certain reformat maybe better than other attempts as in the computer seems to run better after certain reformats.
