Ok, I know a lot of people say that macbook pros get hot, but I feel like something strange is going on with mine. Right now my Macbook Pro 13" mid 2009 is idling at 68c! the room is cool, its the morning and the window is open. I feel like that temp is really high. Also i'm sure it never used to get that hot, I feel like something has changed. So I suppose my question is do you think that temp is too high, and what does your Macbook Pro idle at? Do you think apple would even consider looking at it? Thanks

I have 7 tabs open in safari, iTunes, Quicksilver, Word and Email going and my cpu is at 47 degrees.

I haven't looked at what is 'normal' yet.

Here, my MBP 13" 2010 has a 40°C idle temp.

But I have noticed 2010 rev is clearly cooler than mid 2009... My 2009 used to reaching 60° like yours, in some idle state...
