Dear People
I really want to connect my macbook pro to my TV so i can watch movies etc.
BUT! the TV is thick and old, the only connections it has got is SCART at the back and the RGB connector on the side, you know the yellow white and red plugs for audio and video.
so on apples webshop i found an adapter that allows you to convert the DV connector on the side of the mac (the one i use when connecting an adapter for VGA on projectors etc) into the yellow (looks like a phono) plug for video, to put into the tv, and then use minijack to phono for audio. the adapter also has S-video out, whatever thats for.
Now, what i was wondering is: what model to buy? there are a lot out there because the DV connectors on the macs are very different.
my mac is an 13" aluminum MacBook Pro, 250GB HDD bought new in june 2010. What is the name of the DV connector on the my mac? (mini-DVI, Micro-DV, DVI etc.)

i dont know, and i want to buy the right adapter. well, there are descriptions on each adapter telling me some of the macs that it works for, and i couldn't find anyone who matches my MacBook....... so is it even possible? i really want to know
