MacBook Pro 13" Will Not Turn On

I have a Mac Book Pro 13" Model A-1278. I changed the keyboard recently. Everything worked fine for a few hours, but all on a sudden it stopped working. Before it stopped working battery was charged up to 90%. I bought a new charger from Apple store, but no charging or light on the charger. What should I do to fix or test it now? I need it for my daughter asap. Please help:confused:. Thanks a Lot!
