Hi guys, wanted to know if its possible to stick a macbook pro 13inch july 2009 logic board into a july 2005 macbook pro 13 housing? Are the screen connectors and key board functions all the same? What would the likely damaged be on the logic board if this is not compatible and I attempt to do this?

Thanks:eek:

I don't believe so, the ports are on a different side and if memory serves me the 2005 is pre unibody and the 2009 is unibody

Yeah, totally different layout. ODD in the front on a pre-unibody also.

The MacBook Pro was introduced in January 2006, with the 13" model not being introduced until 2009. Not sure what model you're actually talking about, but the short answer is "No". Won't work for a whole lot of reasons.
