MacBook Pro 14” battery dying overnight when connected to USB-C monitor overnight

My new MacBook Pro 14” M1 pro is losing battery overnight when connected to a usb c monitor.

I shut down my MacBook Pro, close the lid and then leave it. Battery continues to drain.

I’ve also noticed that if I don’t close the lid - the MacBook Pro reboots when I shut this down.

Any thoughts?
