Hello guys,
I upgraded from my 2009 mbp to a new 2012 mbp.
I have noticed the temperature is getting higher than I am used to on my old mbp. I can blame this to the fact that I have been playing my games on higher graphics settings.
With the temperatures cpu cores reaching between 90 and 100 Celsius I am beginning to worry if I am shortening the lifespan of my machine.
The gpu is reaching up to 80-87 Celcius.
This is when I am playing Starcraft2 on high settings.
I have smcFancontrol and use it to boost my fans to 4000rpm
I also have a zalman (ZM-NC1000) laptop cooler my MBP is sitting on.
Am I right to get worried or are these temperatures completely fine?
