Hi,
Just as the first video below at 1:19, my MBP 2019 make exactly the same sounds ( position between the screen and touchbar for me ) whenever i run something heavy or simply restart the MBP. This is happening with all the MBP line with touchbar i believe, cause the video sample below was MBP 2016 but mine 2019 still got it.

I used to go to Apple Store and after few days and test they just this normally which i believe it's not. Anyone have same kind of problem and still living or find solution for it already? Cause my Apple Care already run out.

My solution was using Mac Fan Control and the problem seems less happen but the fan just too loud, i saw the comment on youtube about put oil to the hinge can solve this ? any idea?

I've had this problem on both Macbook Pro 15 2016 and 2018. I believe this is a design issue, however, not everyone is experiencing it. There is no real fix - it's heat-related and the metal part in the hinge is expanding.

Even after having the whole top case replaced during the keyboard problem, the popping sound is still there.
