I have a late 2007 Macbook Pro 15. I was told this was the Santa Rosa edition. 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. My display was working fine one day then after using it for a couple hours the display turned a greenish tint out of no where. I took it to the Apple store and they ran tests said it may be the display or something else? The laptop is out of warranty. I have the laptop hooked up to an external display and the picture is crystal clear. Should I replace the display? Or could it be something else?? PLEASE HELP!

****UPDATE****

So I took my MacbookPro apart and basically stripped it down to see what I would have to do to replace the display. After disconnecting the display from the motherboard and main frame, I took the display apart and wiggled a few connectors. After putting everything back together I turn my Macbook on and what do I see? A CLEAR DISPLAY! I dont know what I did but I fixed it. The display has flashed green once since this has happened but I pushed on the upper middle part of the keyboard and it went back to normal. WHAT IS THE DIAGNOSIS!?!?!?!?!?!?
