Hey guys, haven't been on here for awhile, but I need some advice.
Right now I have a Black Macbook 2.4ghz Core 2 Duo 2GB ram. Yeah its nice I love it, but the feeling and looks of the MBPs and how powerful they are

Right now I am doing a ton of video editing and graphic design with motion design (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Photoshop, After Effects). Right now, my machine can barely handle AE and PPro so its very time consuming and a hassle to keep switching and not work with them both.
I have been looking at Macbook Pros for quite some time, but waited for the refresh. Well its here and had some questions..
I have been looking at the 15" i5 and the 15" i7 both with the 7200 RPM 500GB HD.
I am going to be headed into college soon for Graphic Design. I soon to plan on upgrading it to 8GB later on.
Which do you think I should go with? I'm really looking at i7... but is it overkill? Or almost perfect for my applications?
