What are the possible outputs through the MiniDisplay port in terms of resolution?

Thanks lads!

While we are on the subject of outputs. What is the outputs of the 13" MBP?

Graphics and video support

NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory5
Dual display and video mirroring: Simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display and up to 2560 by 1600 pixels on an external display, both at millions of colors

Is that taking into account that I use a MiniDP>DVI connector, and then use a DVI>HDMI connector?

1920x1200 if you're using MDP to DVI (single-link). Greater than that can only be achieved with MDP to dual-link DVI (99$)

Same 2560x1600 with dual-link DVI adapter, 1920x1200 with others

Those are for external displays, internals are 1280x800 for 13", 1440x900/1680x1050 for 15" and 1920x1200 for 17"
