I plan to purchase the 15inch 2011 model, but i am having trouble to decide which one.
I am a phd student and will mostly use it for web,documents,Matlab and other demanding simulation softwares and for leisure time i need it to run flight simulators such as realflight 5, which are quite demanding.
My biggest concern is the GPU, i am quite sure the CPU bump will not make such a big difference (am i right ?
).
my questions are :
1. will the base model's GPU be powerful enough to run my flight simulators ?
2. Is it true that the high end model heats up more than the base model ?
3. Is there a noticeable difference between the 7200RPM and 5400RPM HD (In case i take the high-end and have to decide if i go with the space or speed)?
