I have the new MBP 15" Late-2016 model, fully loaded. It's connected to a Dell UP3216Q 4K monitor on my desk. When I use the Macbook, I keep it open and use the 4K display as well as the built-in display.
I've noticed when I put the Macbook to sleep in this arrangement (laptop opened up, screen on), it goes to sleep ok.
But, then later the monitor will turn on "Searching for signal", then eventually off again. I also see that the keyboard on the Macbook is lit up. So it seems like sleep isn't really truly sleep. Even if I turn the monitor off, I have noticed the Macbook keyboard occasionally lighting up.
Anyone else having sleep issues?
