Hi.

i have a problem with my sata controller in my mac.
i have stock Hitachi 7200rpm 500GB drive and it show only work in SATA I. but i read is this a SATA II drive. This drive is in the main bay.
My second HDD in optibay work in SATA II.

What is the problem? Hitachi is only SATA I? Or controller has some issue?

Thank you.
(sorry for my english)

Maybe it is a firmware issue with the HDD, but any HDD can't even reach full S-ATA 1.5 Gbps (S-ATA I) speeds of 148 to 157 MB/s, as 2.5" HDDs have maximum speeds of around 75 to 105 MB/s, thus the HDD not having a "Negotiated Link Speed" of S-ATA 3.0 Gbps (S-ATA II) is more than okay.
