Macbook Pro 15" resolution and ram options

I am planning on buying the new Macbook Pro 15-inch: 2.2 GHz model. I read that on the last model the hi res glossy was actually worse then the normal glossy. I was wondering if it was worth adding, or if it doesn't make a huge difference and should just stick to the basic glossy display.

Also is the upgrade to 8gb of ram worth the cash?

Do yourself a quick search on these forums to see a TON of threads and posts on this subject. Bottom line: If you can-go see the difference for yourself in person.

As far as the ram ?- depends on what you are using the computer for. More can never hurt and it's a cheap upgrade at this point.

Don't buy the ram from apple, 8GB can be had from newegg for under $100, muh less if you don't care what type it is.
