Macbook Pro 15": Screen remplacement with 1680 X 1050?

Dear All,

Is it possible to remplace a macbook pro - SR 15.4" (1440x900) screen with another one which have 1680 X 1050 resolution (LG-Philips: LP154WE2):

I have to change since mine is broken.

My actual screen is 9c67 : LP154WP2-TLA1

I found a thread on MacRumors which said, that the CCFL panels aren't compatible with LED ones.

Since the only panel 1680x1050 - LG/Philips, I found was a CCFL.

Search dude, couple of threads on it already. One of them fairly recent so you shouldn't have oto go too far back.
