I presently have a MacBook Pro 15 with a Core Duo 1.83 chip, a Radeon X1600 128MB graphics card, and a max of 2 g.

I would like to upgrade to a new model because I run Aperature (which needs a fast video card) and Parallels (which is a memory hog).

New model will accomodate 4G and has an NVIDEA GeForce 8600N GT with 256MB. (I assume all that fancy lingo means that it is a faster card.)

However, macrumors buying suggestion is to wait. It seems like this model has had several upgrades recently and is state-of-the-art. Is there something I am missing? What is coming out soon that is important enough for me to wait?
