I transferred all my data from my MacBook's time capsule backup to my new MacBook Pro yet even thou they supposedly have the same data and the same capacity hard drive (232.89 GB) my MacBook has 15GB more data on it. I am positive that I backuped all the data and transferred all of it to the MacBook Pro so how could this happen?

Hm...

Some of that 15GB might have been used for your original Macbook's system purposes, like system page files (which by itself can take up a few gigs). Since your MBP is more powerful and probably has faster RAM, it has no need to write page files as big.

Also, the Time Capsule backup keeps a record of several instances of a particular file over time, so you might have many many instances of the same document and this can add up.
