Macbook Pro 15inch acting up

I bought my 15inch MBP in July and I did heavy starcraft 2 gaming through the whole summer and a bit into now and sometimes when i play my screen turns black for a few seconds. More recently I've been getting freezes for 15 seconds consistently. I think this might be cause of dust. I just cleaned my USB ports etc with a toothpick and had to pick the dust out.

I was wondering is this due to the game or my macbook pro?
 
You can always try another game, see if that causes the same issue.

Failing that, a Genius bar would be happy to help I'm sure :)
