MacBook Pro 16” 1000% more energy than M1 MacBook Air doing the same task

Have a 2019 base MacBook Pro 16” and my wife has a M1 MacBook Air. We both play Hearthstone. I decided to compare the power usage while doing the exact same thing using coconutbattery. I do have a USB-C power meter too but I feel like CoconutBattery is representative of real world power usage. What’s even more surprising is Hearthstone isn’t even M1 native. The air runs it just as well and barely gets warm while the pro spins up the fans and burns my leg.

The numbers speak for themselves: 36 watts vs 3.3 watts
