Looks like a daily task running to save IO stats for the disk.

Thanks.

Anyone else's MBP 16 have this ?

My old MBP, work MBP and iMac do NOT have this ever

Would someone with the 16 check if you have this diag report as well?

want to make sure I do not have an issue

thank you

it is systemstats. Files are written to /var/db/systemstats. On my 2018 MBP 15" it looks like it writes a set of files on each reboot. But with the name ".....Daily.IO" I would not be surprised if the systemstats daemon does not also run daily.

@jerryk Thanks. But this only happens on my new MBP 16. My iMac, work 2017 15" MBP and 2014 MBP it does not happen.

Can someone with the MBP 16 check please, I just want to know if I need to retuen it

I am seeing this on my 2018 15" MBP so I do not think it is unique to the 2019 16"

Thanks! I went to best buy (closer to me) to check floor model and console is locked behind admin.....
