Hi guys, I've been using my MacBook Pro 16 inch for about 6 months and I recently came across this issue when my laptop would make a faint popping noise near the top left of the trackpad, right around under the control and option key. Its like a sound that happens when you press on the plastic of a disposable water bottle. This popping usually occurs when my laptop initially starts heating up, like when my log in items are started when I, you know, log in, or when I launch chrome. Most of the time it does not pop under these circumstances. However, if I were to run a Cinebench test, at the beginning of the test, I would hear like three pops. Just to be clear, these pops happen once and then don't bother me for the rest of the day. But it will occur the next day after I start it up and it has been cooled for a few hours. To clear any confusion, this isn't the speaker popping issue that plagued the 16 inch MacBooks when they were first released; that sounded completely different and only occurred when I played and paused audio content. Has anyone else noticed this issue with their 16 inch MacBook Pro? I will post a link of a YouTube video that best shows what is happening. However, the video shows a 15 inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, and the popping occurred heatedly throughout use in the video. This is probably because the 16 is superior in cooling. However, I am a student and I spent 2K on the laptop and I expect it to be perfect. Thanks in advance for any replies.
