Looking for a soft shell case (eg. polycarbonate, rubber or silicone) for my MBP 16 M4. Only seem to find hard plastic case options. Has anyone found / using a rubber type case (like my clear iPhone case) and designed so that it's got good ventilation for the fans. I'm avoiding the hard plastic cases as they seem to break or fit properly

Awesome, thanks!!
is it any good? every second review indicates it's a hit and miss, in terms of quality/fit, and the picture is misleading, in terms of flexibility.

I had a perfect case on my 15", by Incipio I think, but they pivoted to phones only.

I really don't recommend cases around computers. What always happens is dirt/grit gets inside the case and continuously rubs against it and causes more wear than just leaving the computer naked.

You could get one of those protective stickers they sell since they'll stay stuck completely to the surface until you peel them off but that's all I would personally suggest using.

or it could be that the case is there to protect the shell from something more impactful than just a scratch. you can also take it off and scrub it clean now and then, if you live in a sandbox.

The one I got from Amazon is good. Good fit, no complaints, and I'm fussy lol

Yeah I keep my $7K+ (AUD) MBP 16" pretty clean and in a tomtoc case, so dirt and grit are pretty non-existant on my machine

oh ok, but it's not really very flexible, is it? I was eyeing up one with matte finish that covers the logo, might give it a shot.
