My graphic 256mb on mac died and i get it fixed with new graphic card to service. But now in about this mac/more info i get that i have nvidia geforce 8600M GT 128MB card. I dont know how this is posible when macbook pro 17 with 128mb card only exist in 2006 version with ATI radeon x1600 card?
Is it even possible that service can put 128mb card in to 256mb place?
In service i get explanation that mac have shared memory and thats why it says 128mb, but i doubt it couse i am confident that before i saw 256mb, i also had in past 512mb version and it was writen in about this mac 512mb and not 256mb shared!
Trough a serial noumber on the internet i get info that my mac was built with 256mb card
