Macbook Pro 17 2011 Graphics Switching?

My new Macbook Pro 17 (Early 2011, 2.3GHz) doesn't appear to be switching graphics correctly.

At the moment I only have Google Chrome and Sparrow Mail app open and it is using the discrete AMD Radeon graphics card. This can't be right can it?

I have already checked the graphics switching settings in the power save cp.

Actually just checked a few things, Safari stays with integrated Intel graphics, Chrome or Firefox switches on the discrete AMD graphics.

Chrome always uses the discreet card. Yes, it sucks and you still can't two finger swipe back in Lion.
