Has anyone had this issue with model A115 MacBook Pro 17"? I can usually close and reopen the lid and problem goes away. I opened up the MacBook and reseated the three cables and the issue continues. Also, when the display is corrupt the video output to external monitor or projector is fine.

Appreciate any advice.

Thanks,
Alan

When ever I see corrupt video as you show, I think of a bad GPU.

Take it into an apple store so they can run some diagnostics. If the GPU is heading south then there's nothing you can do other then replace the logic board
