Does anyone know if you can use a USB 3.0 Express34 card in Windows under boot camp and have at least better than FW 800 performance? I'm on the fence between eSATA and USB 3. eSATA seems to be getting phased out at Fry's and online. I don't want to invest in a dying technology, but will USB 3.0 be much better than FW 800 on my MBP 17 i5?

Thanks

You mean for the expresscard usb 3.0 adapter like this?:

It is hardware, so the only issue I would imagine is if windows needs some new drivers or crap like that. I am guessing it'll work

Exacly...

It sounds like Mac OS X will not support it, but I wanted to see if that was an OS issue or a hardware issue on the MBP system.Has anyone tried it out?
