As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay, or Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what you may be able to charge. Then adjust your price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc.

I think that MacMall is selling the same model, brand new with Apple Original manufacturers warranty for around $1900. Price has gone up, cause I purchased one from them this past February, shipped for $1859.37.
Mac2sell estimated mine (2.3 quad i7, 8g RAM) at $1740. Didn't take into account AC or high-rez matte screen. Apple is selling similar model (glossy screen) in refurb store for $1979.
I am not sure if I want to keep it or sell it and get a retina.
How much could I get for a 17" mid-2009 2.8ghz? I started another thread awhile ago, but I didn't get any response. I'm looking to sell it and my MacBook air for a retina MBP.
