I was watching a movie on netflix yesterday when, out of the blue, a 2 inch wide line appeared vertically on my screen! I took it to the genius bar, and he diagnosed it with a faulty display. He also ordered a new logic board "to be on the safe side". Has anyone had any problems similar to this? It is a 2010 i5, and I was using the discrete graphics while watching the movie. It has never run hot and it has never even left my desk!
