Since yesterday I have been having a problem with browsing the web on my MBP. No matter if I try safari or firefox webpages take forever to load. I did a speed test and its coming through at 23mbps. I have tried repairing permissions, executing the daily maintenance scripts, clearing the cache, resetting safari, and using the program Main Menu to clean every kind of cache and (prebindings?) and everything else I can think of. It happened at work too so I know its not my Internet connection. Please help or I'm going to go crazy.

P.S. I also didnt install any new programs and filevault isn't on either LOL.

P.P.S. I tried reinstalling firefox also.

It is over airport. I did not try it on Ethernet yet as I'm backing up my iMac via Ethernet now.

OK, well I fixed it myself. It had a old DNS server in the networking prefpane which was causing it to slow down. Thanks for the help

Thanks

Spyz88. Even though it's an old post, I had the same problem with an extra DNS. Kicked it out and problem solved. Thanks again!
