I just got a macbook pro 2.4 i5 two weeks ago and I was wondering how much could I resell the notebook for or what is a fair price? I see some on ebay for 1000$ but I'm not 100% sure if that seems fair.

2 weeks isn't still within the return window?

Ay best I'd think you'll get refurb pricing which last I looked was right about $950 US. That's a best case.

It's 1020 on the apple site for refurbished. I can't return it because apple upgraded me to this model and i don't really feel I need it because it's too nice. I'm scared to drop it or break it. It's only 2 weeks old.

Wha?!?!

If it's too nice...send it to me. PM me for the address. Tell you what...I'll even pay shipping!

:D

I'm not use to owning such a expensive computer because my pervious macbook book was a used unibody white macbook I bought on ebay for a good price and was my first macbook.

On ebay you'll get a good price, but pay costs. On here youll get a lower price, but no costs. Really just depends on what you want to do.

what are the average prices here and on ebay? I'm too lazy to look so can someone please tell me? =(

That doesn't even make sense why you can't return it. Go to the store, tell them the computer you need and exchange it. Why did you accept Apple's upgrade in the first place?

People love it when you say you can't click a mouse three times to find out an answer.

Yeah I'm rough with my laptops. I accepted it because they were able to replace it with a brand new laptop.

I want to resell the mac because I bought a mac that was really cheap and did not really want to worry about breaking the product. Now apple has gladly replaced my mac with a brand new pro and I don't feel I need the product so I'm planning on selling it because it is too nice. This is my first mac.

Just say to yourself
"I'm Good Enough, I'm Smart Enough, and Doggone It, People Like Me!"
Then enjoy your wonderful new Mac.
