MacBook Pro 2.53Ghz i5 Geekbench Scores

Thought you guys might be interested in my geekbench scores for my new MacBook Pro 15" 2.53Ghz i5.

I tested with the 32bit version of Geekbench.

My final score was 4992

Thanks, trying to decide which 15" to go for so this helps get a better picture.

Tested the same spec demo unit at the apple store today and I got more then 5k hmm, on 32 of course.

When I was in the store I did the dock opening test, which is basically - you click and open all apps in the dock, one after the other and see how it copes.

On Apple's standard store builds (with dummy photo, email, video, music content), all iLife apps, all iWorks apps, safari, mail etc...

Spec was as above in my link....

The good news: Every single app opened instantly, no bounces. It was amazing. Sure RAM has something to do with all that, but it truly was fast and glorious!
