Hi I have a MacBook pro and am thinking of buying a SSD to day and install OSX just on the SSD.
The seep of my start up osx is fast any way, but I want the mix speed possible out of my MacBook pro, so would installing a SSD and putting osx on the SSD speed the start up and operation at well ???

My start up now is about 40 sec on my MacBook pro 2007 2.4 15" 3.1 running M.l osx

If any one Has the same MacBook with an SSD what is your start up ?
Thanks

Not a 2007, but I can boot up my 2010 MBP with Intel SSD in about 10 seconds.
