Macbook Pro 2007 with Hybrid Drive

I recently installed a new Seagate Momentus XT Hybrid Drive in my Macbook Pro from 2007. I have an average of 70 write, 90 read. That seems slow to me for a Hybrid drive. Shouldn't it be faster? I have the latest firmware.
