I have a 2009 MacBook Pro 15" that is started to crash recently. It seems to crash when I try to watch movies that I have ripped using Handbrake. I had no problem with this until about a month ago. It will play about 1-5 minutes of a video file (MP4) then it will give me the spinning beach ball. I am running 10.7.5. I have replaced my hard drive recently.

I am currently in Haiti, and will be here for the next two months, so I need help diagnosing the problem.

Thank you for you help
